Official Speaker Lineup Announced for the 2026 State of the Industry Panel

As the Medicare industry prepares for another AEP, some of the biggest conversations are centered around what comes next.

Changes across the Medicare Advantage landscape, evolving carrier strategies, regulatory developments, technology, and the future of distribution are creating an environment where agency leaders need perspective from across the industry.

On September 9th in Philadelphia, four industry leaders will come together to provide exactly that during the State of the Industry Panel at The Senior Resource Group’s 5th Annual AEP Industry Event.

We’re excited to officially announce this year’s speaker lineup.

Meet the 2026 State of the Industry Speakers

Scott Perry — CEO, AmeriLife

As CEO of AmeriLife, Scott Perry brings an executive-level perspective from one of the country’s leading insurance distribution organizations.

Scott returns to the State of the Industry Panel this year to offer his perspective on the forces shaping insurance distribution, the opportunities ahead, and what organizations should be thinking about as the industry continues to evolve.

Rachael Hurtado — SVP, National Broker Distribution, UnitedHealthcare

Representing the carrier perspective will be Rachael Hurtado, SVP of National Broker Distribution at UnitedHealthcare.

Rachael brings a valuable perspective on the relationship between carriers, distribution organizations, agencies, and agents at a time when the Medicare landscape continues to change.

Tyler Rees — CEO, EnrollHere

Tyler Rees, CEO of EnrollHere, will bring the technology and enrollment perspective to this year's conversation.

As technology continues to play a larger role in how agencies operate, scale, and serve consumers, Tyler's perspective adds another important dimension to a panel built around understanding where the industry is headed.

John Barnoski — CEO, Connect One Health | Moderator

Moderating this year's discussion and providing an FMO perspective will be John Barnoski, CEO of Connect One Health.

John will guide the conversation across the different perspectives represented on stage, digging into the issues, opportunities, and changes that matter most to agencies and industry leaders as they prepare for AEP and look toward the future.

Four Leaders. Four Perspectives. One Conversation.

Bringing together perspectives from distribution, carriers, technology, and agency leadership is what makes this year's lineup particularly valuable.

Rather than focusing solely on what agencies need to do during the upcoming enrollment season, the conversation will look at the bigger picture.

The speakers will discuss the trends they're seeing across the market, challenges facing agencies and distribution organizations, opportunities emerging throughout the industry, and what leaders should be paying attention to as they prepare for AEP and beyond.

With AEP just weeks away, the timing gives attendees an opportunity to hear directly from leaders operating across different areas of the business at one of the most important points of the year.

A Conversation Built for Agency Leaders

For agency owners, understanding what is happening beyond their own organization can play an important role in making better long-term decisions.

Changes involving carriers, regulation, technology, consumer behavior, and distribution can quickly influence the way agencies recruit, sell, retain clients, and plan for growth.

The State of the Industry Panel is designed to bring those perspectives into one room.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from Scott Perry, Rachael Hurtado, Tyler Rees, and John Barnoski about the forces shaping the business and gain insight they can take back to their own organizations as they prepare for the months ahead.

More Than a Panel

The State of the Industry conversation will be part of a much larger day of connection and preparation at the 5th Annual AEP Industry Event.

Each year, the event brings together agents, agency owners, carrier partners, technology partners, and leaders from throughout the insurance industry in Philadelphia ahead of AEP.

Last year's event welcomed 332 attendees, 34 sponsors, and 16 carriers, creating an opportunity for professionals from across the industry to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, and prepare for the busiest time of the Medicare calendar.

This year, we're looking to build on that momentum once again.
